Be safe, be considerate, and follow Texas fishing regulations. A valid license is required on the pier.

No running on the pier

Wear closed-toe shoes

No climbing, sitting, or jumping from railings

Follow all Texas state fishing regulations — license required

General Admission: up to 3 rods · no rods longer than 10 feet

Children up to age 10 may bring 1 rod each

Keep your area tidy — return dead fish and organic materials to the water

Lewd or overly intoxicated visitors will be removed — no refund

Everything visitors want to know before they head out.

Yes. A valid Texas fishing license is required by the State of Texas and must be in your possession while fishing on the pier. Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Wardens make frequent stops. You can purchase a license at tpwd.texas.gov.
Coolers are permitted but are checked at the entrance. Outside alcohol is not allowed on the pier — including beer, wine, liquor, and hard seltzers. A wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is available for purchase on the pier.
Not at all. Our on-site shop offers rod rentals, quality frozen bait, and a full selection of tackle and supplies. Just show up — we have everything you need to start fishing right away.
Service animals are welcome on the pier. Other pets are not permitted — fishing hooks and animals don't mix safely.
Summer hours (2nd Saturday in March through the weekend after Thanksgiving): open 24/7. Winter hours: 7 AM – 11 PM daily. Hours may change due to weather — check our website or Facebook before heading out.
Yes. The Sea Bean serves locally roasted coffee, lattes, and pre-packaged snacks and pastries. Jimmy's on the Pier offers Gulf-view dining with fresh seafood, hand-pattied burgers, and cold drinks. There's no need to bring your own food.
No refunds are issued on pier passes, bait, or tackle. If you are removed from the pier for violation of the rules, no refund will be given.
