Long ago, sailors and coastal villagers believed sea beans were magical gifts carried by the ocean from distant tropical lands. These rare seeds would drift across the sea for months — sometimes even years — before washing ashore. Finding one was believed to bring luck, protection, safe journeys, and new beginnings. Because they traveled great distances through storms and tides, sea beans became symbols of resilience, adventure, and connection across oceans.

At The Sea Bean, we were inspired by that story. Just like the legendary sea bean, our café is a place where people from different walks of life come together, share stories, and find comfort by the water.
